NEW YORK, February 18, 2010 – New York Knickerbockers President of Basketball Operations Donnie Walsh announced today that the team has acquired guards Eddie House and J.R. Giddens, guard/forward Bill Walker and a future conditional second-round draft selection from the Boston Celtics in exchange for guard Nate Robinson and forward Marcus Landry.
"This trade will give our younger players the opportunity to get more quality time on the court, while also adding an additional outside shooter and two young players," Walsh said. "We thank Nate for his five seasons in New York and we wish him well."
House, 6-1, 175-pounds, has career averages of 7.6 points, 1.7 rebounds and 16.9 minutes in 643 games (30 starts) during his 10-year NBA career with Miami, L.A.
