Community Outreach
During the 2011-2012 NBA D-League Season the Los Angeles D-Fenders serviced the Los Angeles community in many ways and showed that they can be champions on the court and in the community.
Highlights include:
Working with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to put together food boxes to be distributed to food pantries all around Los Angeles.
Visiting Valor Academy, a local charter school, and teaching the 7th grade student body how to live a healthy and active lifestyle during NBA FIT Week.
Hosting basketball clinics at various community groups throughout the season.
Donating autographed memorabilia to local nonprofit organizations to assist in their fundraising purposes.
Joining TreePeople at a tree planting event in Inglewood to support people becoming more environmentally friendly.

The Los Angeles D-Fenders understand the importance of their fans and appreciate all of their support throughout the season.
